Can anyone give me some tips to use a warrior as best as possible, i die a lot of time and potions aren't always enough. I created a mage and now I feel it's a lot more easier ...

I never encountered any big problems as a Warrior, but I suppose that was because I was into Heavy Armor, Two-handed Weapons and Smithing.

Turn the slider down? Take up smithing?

You get to one shot dragons with a warrior though

You must not have gotten very far in the game yet... or losing to something very specific, try another dungeon ?

I have encountered just the opposite, I think mages are more reliant on potions to be effective.

With any character in this game, you have to concentrate on 4-5 skills and do those very well, and at least three of them should give you some sort of combat efficiency.

Obviously you could get to level 20 just from pickpocket, lockpick, smithing, and alchemy, but you will still swing a sword like a 1st level character - while fighting 20th level bad guys.

That same example usually applies on a lesser scale to any ineffective character- you've just leveled up too many different things and without SOME specialization in SOME combat related skills you are going to get your butt kicked...

I'd point out that poisons can do some pretty nasty things to your enemies even when you have 0 (zero) combat perks.

Don't try to take on multiple enemies at once early in the game--use a bow to take one or two out first.

Get weapons/blocking/smithing training as soon as you can.

Upgrade your weapons and armor through looting and then upgrade them more through smithing.

I've been playing a warrior and, other than my first dragon and the first vampires I came across (oy!), potion swigging has been at a minimum as have deaths.
