I get this error-message when I try to install the High-Res-Texture-Patch. No idea, what that means and how to fix it but I guess it is related to changing the versions-info of the Crysis2.exe (that thing won't tell me).

It DOES show the normal setup afterwards, which also runs normally but when I want to launch the game, the option for High Res Textures is still greyed out, so I guess it's related to that error-message.

(I downloaded and installed the Patch twice from two different sources, Fileplanet and gamesas, and also tried to execute it as admin - message still appears)


In addional note, I use the Steam-Version (maybe related) and I might not be the only one having that issue (but for now, nobody seems to have it)

I got that message, too, and ignored it, steam version, works fine. I note that when I ran the files before 1.9 (as a test, I cancelled the install) that message did not appear.

I used the techpowerup versions from this thread.
