Directx 11 patch with Hi Res package choppy

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 3:27 am

Since the direct 11 patch and hi res pack, I'm getting choppy fps. I'm running all ultra settings with vsync off. Here are my specs: i7 2600k @ 4.5, 8gb ram @1866, 2 gtx 570 in SLI. I run fraps, and it tells me I'm getting 80 fps on average, but the game looks choppy, and the fps occasionally dips drastically (down to 20-30 fps.) Is anyone else running 2 gtx 570's in SLI, getting major dips in fps? Is this normal?

I have this same problem. I have an AMD Phenom II 955 BE, 8 gigs of Patriot Sector 5 RAM, and a EVGA 560TI OC'd to 880/1760/2080. And I get around 45 FPS on average, but when FRAPS says I hit 30 FPS the game is visibly choppy. Its weird.

Have you enabled triple buffering in the nvidia panel, i'm taking a hit too, gonna try this next, i disabled it for better mouse control in MP.

yea, me too, I'm getting horrible jumps in frames and mouse control is horrible. I'm gonna try enabling triple buffering. If that doesn't work, I guess another patch/driver update is coming...
