Because for PS3 users, magic resist is completely gone from the game. I mean everything, like NPC's magic resist as well (so you can kill flame atronarch with fire).

The same glitch applies to the 360 and the textures are far from fixed, the snow paint textures still look terrible.

I'd say no. Until the Magic Resistance bug is fixed stay away from accepting any update through Xbox Live. Unless you want your game to get nobbled.

If you don't like resistances and don't mind the 99.9% chance that they broke other stuff that no one has noticed yet then go for it.

Well since I never gave a damn about the textures in the first place I think I'll give this update a miss. I'm not giving up my magic resistance.

I am curious about that as well, because my firewall popped up a warning about steam wanting to connect..which i allowed ofcourse. (For the third time in a week. ) But now i do not know if an update happened, or how i can check for Skyrim updates myself?

On your Steam Library screen is a small heading above and to the right of your games list (All Games) click on that and select downloads, it'll list everything that steam downloads. That said, no, all I've DL'd recently were updates to TF2 and Day of Deafeat:Source.

Looks like 0 bytes where downloaded today, so i will wait and see. Let us hope the PC version doesn't suffer from the 0% Magic resistance bug.
