Do you think it's possible?

This is my second account on this forum page, that's why it says I've only been a member for a short time. However, I have been posting here since the earliest months of Skyrims announcement. With that being said, this is my story.

Before the game ever came out, I posted this big long post about how the only thing I cared for was Alchemy. I discussed my plans for roleplaying as an Alchemist, but more importantly, I begged for a shack. I said, "My dream is to just have a shack in the woods with little to no furnishings. I merely want an Alchemy table and a place to put some knick knacks". In fact, half of my post was just talking about how much my character would hate society. Do you understand the picture I'm painting? Several months before Skyrim's release, I asked for a shack.

Last night I was riding my horse along the road when I noticed a shack to my left. I thought to myself "hell yeah, a shack!" and went to investigate. As I approach it says "Location Discovered: Alchemist's Shack". My jaw hit the floor. I could not believe what I had just seen. When I went inside, and it was the shack of my dreams. The only furnishings were a bed, an end table, and some book shelves. There was an Alchemy table in the back along with a garden growing Deathbell (any achemist knows deathbell rule). I was so stoked! I started to wonder if it was possible that bethesda read my giant post on wanting to be a pure alchemist and incorporated it into the game.

I know that it's a longshot, and I don't even really believe it ... but check it out ... this is where the story gets crazy ...

I decide that I'm going to spend the night at the cabin to pay respect. When I wake up, I gather my things and get back on my horse. As soon as I mounted my horse, I heard the cry of a dragon and I froze up a little bit. My difficulty is up pretty high, so Dragons are literally one of the most terrifying things in Skyrim. I sprinted my horse behind the nearest rock (because everyone loves to kill your horse) and took out my Greatsword. I fought with the dragon for at least twenty minutes, and he killed me at least four times. Finally I decided that it was time to use all the poision I've been stockpiling and ONLY THROUGH ALCHEMY was I able to defeat the dragon.

As I stood in front of the shack, absorbing the soul, the sun broke the trees in a magical way. I knew the attack was unscripted and I knew that Bethesda probably didn't put in an Alchemist shack just because of my post ... but the entire situation held enormous significance to my character.

You never know I suppose. Bethesda could have been in a good mood. But an "Alchemist's shack" is a pretty standard thing. Cool that you got exactly what you wanted.

It was definitely a butterfly and that jar now sits next to my alchemist table at my house in Whiterun

Moments like that...

Moments that seem tailor-made just for you.

TES have always delivered those moments.

It's why I play.

The end table next to the bed doesn't respawn. This makes the Alchemist's Shack a nice place to use as a base. Testing the resets for the Alchemist's Shack has shown that the outside barrel and the inside barrel do reset and so do the items in the shack, meaning if you move items from there spot or take them they will respawn in their original spot [...]
