Making a Shaman, how does this build sound I need a little h

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 11:30 pm

Race: Redguard//Orc RP purposes

Skills: one handed combat (axe/mace), Block, Destruction (Lightning magic only), Alteration, Conjuration (summon storm atronoch)

Does this sound like a good build for a shaman RP purpose?

Reason why I left out restoration is not all shamans are healers

I reckon Orc would be more appropriate. As, i believe they do have shamanic figures in their society and do, afterall, worthship Deadra (again, i believe).

Whereas Redguards arn't all that trustworthy of magic and the supernatrual. I think.

Anyway, a Shamanic Orc would fairly awsome, mate.

alchemy would probably work well with a Shaman. Not all of them are spiritual healers, but quite a few are herbal healers.

In lay-man's terms, I guess, a Shaman is a Druid but to a specific being, God, natural entitiy. A druid would, perhaps, focus his knowladge and efforts on the whole of the natural world, for example, whereas a Shaman would be dedicated to one specific God, or animal. That is how I like to think of it.

How about rolling a refugee Dunmer Ashlander as an archetype for a shaman?

Perhaps, but the Ashlanders (especially the wise-women) are very shamanistic in an RP sense.

Also, characters like Korst Wind-Eye of the Skaal (Solstheim/Bloodmoon) is a Nord shaman. Maybe you could use him as a

model/template?
