I know people like to create different outfits to help in different situations; such as a suit that increases alchemy to make better potions.

In Oblivion I used to create a suit that allowed me to carry alot more stuff.

In Skyrim however; strength is now linked to stamina. I have an amulet that increases my stamina but it does not add to my carry capacity.

I know that there are potions for both fority strength and fortify stamina so maybe increasing stamina this way does not increase your strength and therefore I would need to find an enchanted item of strength that I can disenchant and then I can create a strength suit.

Has anyone found an enchanted item that does increase strength or can we just not do this anymore?

the thieves guild quest line gives a chest-piece that buffs your carrying capacity

*item* of hauling increases carry capacity.

Of Strength = Carrying Capacity

of Stamina = More stamina.

Increasing Stamina does increase carrying capacity, but it's a much smaller bonus than an "of Strength" item/potion.

I carry some boots with me that increases carry capacity just in case.

I've seen many *Boots* of Hauling that increase carrying capacity. Although I have a feeling that you can only enchant other Boots with that modifier.

I thought this might be the case.

It just seems strange though that if you level up and choose stamina; your stamina will increase by 10 and your carry capacity will increase by 5 (as they are linked). I have an amulet that increases my stamina by 30 so I was expecting my carry capacity to be increased by 15.

This just means then that I have to be on the lookout for items that are enchanted to increases strength so that I can disenchat it and make my own suit...
