Since I setup my new modem, all my server pings (in the game) read @ 999 ms, thus resulting in me getting kicked from the server. The pings at the server browser are the same as before, but once I joined a game, they all read @ 999 ms. I can not seem to fix it.

So I was going to uninstall Crysis 2, then reinstall it, then the new patches.

Do I need to "DeAuth" Crysis 2 if simply uninstalling it, then reinstalling it on the same PC? I know you have a limited number of activations before it won't allow you to reactivate without contacting EA, which is a pain and I want to avoid.
