Will you buy Skyrim for PC for the mods?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 3:55 am

Wanted to make a poll because I am curious. I want to buy Skyrim for the PC just because of all the mods that come out and how much more diverse gameplay can be. I have Oblivion for PC and I loved all the immersion mods and texture improvement mods out there. I think I'm going to buy Skyrim for PC once I'm done having my fun with the console version (Xbox 360). Any thoughts?

Yes. I'm going to trade my Xbox version eventually. I planned to buy it for my PC, but my comp broke 2 days before the release. So I got it for the box.
I have already seen alot of mods out there that I want.

Where's the "I never got it for a console anyway" option? >_>

I bought it on PC specifically for the mods.

Since my PC was way outdated, I played Oblivion and Fallout 3 on the 360 and enjoyed both games thoroughly. A few years later I was over at a friends and he showed me some of the mods he had installed for FO3, it was like a new game. I immediately went and bought it for PC and installed a huge number of mods and enjoyed the game anew.

I bought 3 copies for the Xbox for myself and my children will probably get another for my oldest cause.now she wants one. But yes I will be getting PC version sometime after Christmas because of extra functionality w modding and I don't think Todd Howard is gonna pull off modding for Xbox. I hate pc games cause of keyboard but I am die-hard TES fan and Oblivion and Skyrim are my favourite games to date and I would like opportunity to get both for pc to see just what modding can do for them.

yes i will. i like getting it for the console first, playing the game vanilla, and beating it without mods/console. you see, i have very little willpower when it comes to cheating, and i wanted to play without doing so.

I'm going to buy it on digital download as soon as some good content mods come out.

I guess Bethesda can always expect a double-buy from me and others like me, but i have no quarrels with paying for this game twice. This game has at least twice as much value as most other games anyway.

I wanted to get it for PC but mine wasn't good enough. When i get a new one I'll buy it for PC mostly for the mods.
