As a last ditch resort I got in close with my Katana and she switched to wait for it 'stock Iron Dagger'.
I dispatched her forthwith.
Then out of anger I blasted her dead bod about a bit with my fireball till she landed in a pool of oil and went up like a christmas tree... hence the title of this topic.
You'd think a boss would have more about them. I am a sneak archer mage and my Katana is literally 'last chance saloon' as I use it out of desperation so I am not particlularly skilled up with using it.
I call 'FAIL' on that Monk Boss woman and on Beth for not giving her a backup plan. Had I been a palladin or something and waded in there with some horrific blade of doom it would have all been over far too quickly.
Boss dudes need to have more in their wallets otherwise they will become 'Hunks of Roast Munk'.
