Simple Enchanting Question

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 10:28 am

Not sure but can you enchant Cowls/Hats. Basically they look the same worn as a hood. I need one for my Paladin character. He wears full glass (I took it for looks to fit and not anything else really) and he looks good with the helmet but I find wearing a cowl/hat looks better/fits more for him.

Just curious if they can be enchanted. Also is it possible to find a mage hood that has not been enchanted? I cannot seem to track one down.

Another side question.

Can you improve the Dawnbreaker to legendary without going the Ebony/Daedric side of smithing? I think yes but I am not 100%.

I believe you need the perk to improve the enchanted weapons and armors(the one on the middle i think) to upgrade magicals. Tailors sell unenchanted clothes like gloves, shoes, raiments and shoes but im not sure bout cowls and robes. I would check mages guild tho.

I have the smithing perk for that and I was already pretty sure I could but not 100% (never went the other path away from daedric before). I have gotten a cowl/hat which is a hood and it looks great, I will just have to try enchanting it.
