Is sneaking (besides skill) effectiveness based on your boots weight or armor type? Once I get the perk that makes heavy armor free of weight, will that make it possible to effectively sneak in heavy armor?

Depends on if free of weight has any impact on noise. Part of me thinks it should, and part shouldn't

Well that's why I'm asking. I know it SHOULD, but I'm wondering if part of that perk is to allow heavy armor wearers to sneak effectively.

Ya I've been able to sneak up on people with my full ebony warrior dark elf, and do the 6x weapon damage.

Edit: Err make sure you ge tthe sneak perks along with it, they help the most obviously.
