I personally don't want to kill any npcs/children but it makes me wonder why I can kill any npc in game but not children. I can murder 300 innocent npc. I guess 1 kid is more important than 300 people. lol just fail.

Because Bethesda would come under fire from all sorts of groups and whatnots if they let you kill kids. I think there is a law in place saying a game won't get released if it has the option. But thats just what Ive been told.

Because some people are dumb enough to sue Bethesda for something like that, because they would somehow think Bethesda says it's acceptable to kill children (although it's neither acceptable to kill advlts).

News at 11: Bethesda getting sued for animal cruelty by not preventing players from killing harmless animals in their games.

I've noticed that children tend to stay up after the other NPCs are asleep, they are also able to witness me committing crimes and things, how am I supposed to pilfer peoples diamonds and rare weaponry with little Billy McHawkeyes following me around the house at night?
