So I've raised a couple of dremora markynaz's with dead thrall so they stay permanently. I must say I'm very fond of them, even given them names. Roger and Gavin. They're good spell casters, and can handle themselves in battle. Best thing about them is they dont moan like a brain-dead zombie every five minutes, or at all, in fact.

My only problem is, whenever I enter a town... literally ALL the NPC's comment on them. "Douse that magic", "Keep your distance", "You're the reason magic has such a bad name" etc. It's getting rather annoying now... is there a possible fix to stop them commenting on them so much? I mean, what's the big deal? It's just a couple of horned demon mages from the depths of Oblivion walking around. What's you're problem?

If you walked around with a loaded gun in the real world, you'd get a lot of attention. You should count yourself lucky that the guards merely comment on it, instead of going hostile on site.

I mean, it's like you're walking around holding guns... that are also holding guns, but are also knives -- I don't know where I was going with this metaphor, but Dremora are badasses. /conclusion

Why can't I simply tell the guards that they're housetrained?

I enjoy the fact that the general Skyrim population has a disdain for magic users. It's a fairly common topic for the NPCs and I love the fact that they comment on it when I'm just practicing away. I'd think everyone and anyone would be rather pissed if someone was waltzing through town with Daedra. Just leave 'em outside with the equally disdained Khajiit.

The guards were even less enthused with the Mace of Molag Bal hanging from my Mage's belt. Love it when they comment on things.

I know how much it svcks I get it too the only reason the NPC's comment on them is because raising the dead is Necromancy although legal its frowned apon - Like cannibalism it's not illegal to eat human flesh if the person is dead and you didnt kill them (still don't understand why, it's a :swear: abomination in my mind) :mohawk:

I personally just like walking around naked and hearing comments. First time I heard someone comment on it was great, I had forgotten to put armor back on after clearing out my inventory.
