my ps3 updated last night and it seems i have lost all of my save data !!!!!! i cant express how depressing this is but im holding onto some form of hope that some one here knows a way to retrieve my lost data . but im curious if i should even make another if the next ps3 update will destroy more data the next time. this worries me should i make a new character ?? and has this happened to anyone else here ??

Haven't heard of this, sounds like a freak data corruption.

Playing on PS 3, my saves were ok. I am experiencing alot of the other issues though. Whiterun house is all screwed up, Dragons are acting weird, etc. etc.

You could call Sony and ask them if there is away to retrieve the data. Gotta still be on your HD.

Glad I didn't do the update this AM. Anyone else have this issue?

All of my saves for Skyrim were OK both after updating the game with patch 1.02 and updating the sytem.

My saves were ok after the patch and firmware update.

The ps3 update did screw up my resolution but that was fixable.
