The results are in ( as if the people above havnt confirmed the fact that wearing bonus regeneration gear does help in combat). I tested a level one character. 100 magicka pool. Burned it completely dry and started a time ( all while engaged by a bow wielding bandit) I time 1 minute on a stop watch and by that time my magicka had renegerated to 62 points (the extra 2 points could be a delay of perfect synchronization between starting the timer and). I left the same bandit alive and burned off the excess magicka again. Same 1 minute timer, this time I slipped on my +50% robes from the dungeon. After the minute had expired, my magicka pool was regenerated to 90. So if I regen 60 per minute on level 1 without any robes or perks ect, for anyone who can't math good ( I said it like that on purpose

) 50% of the #60 is 30. So when I add the 30 points to the 60, it equals out to the results of the +50% regen rate robes. So it is true (I've been rambling for far too long) that having an additional regeneration rate with robes or enchants ect, do carry into battle. Horray for logic and testing!
