And what does the Silver Hand have against daggers?

I'd like to see these weapons, because I've always liked silver in all of the Elder Scrolls, and Ancient Nord weapons turned out to look pretty cool. :s

I'm sorry, but....maces not being invented? Pick up a heavy stick. Bingo! You've got a mace. If they can craft an axe they can craft a mace, it's just a lump of metal on a stick. Doesnt even have to have flanges, technically.

hehe I think its a adaptation of norse culture into the nords of the game, maces were used to shatter light shields and damage people through armor, norse people had no need for them, and blades were much more eficient in their warfare.

daggers are a caster and assassin weapon, they svck otherwise, silver hand are all warriors and archers innit.

Blades were better up until steel plate became popular, then maces took over because the extra reach and versatility of a sword was useless when the only chance you had was to poke the guy in the armpit.

suuuure maces are sooo easy to invent. well guess what genius, they can't invent spears either. weapons are just so complicated.

I read somewhere (maybe strategy guide) that in terms of speed sword>axe>mace. Draugrs have no muscle, so how are they supposed to swing those things?

A mod will fix this, no doubt.
