I was having the same problem, I was using Firefox, then I tried Internet Explorer and it finally worked!

Not to be rude but get over it and not worry about it. I have not been able to use my code since day one OF C@ release. It offers nothing you wot get in the first 3 or 4 hours of multiplayer other than the skin.
