You hit them with arrow > they stagger, meaning they stumble, can't really be explained any further ha.

Gives you a few split-seconds to squeeze in another shot I guess and about the 50% I'd say you only have..50% chance to stagger them?

So the guy that got hit will stagger ?

and if the opponent are really big, large, it have 50% of chance of staggering....

Is it this ?

All opponents will be staggered 50% of the time - or at least, that's how it's felt in my game. It is extremely useful.

It is useful but is it realistic ? I mean, i like the games to be realistic, so IRL i guess that if a guy got shot by an arrow he would stagger right ?

Think of it as a 'stun' if you're familiar with that term from other games.

In real life a guy would more than stagger haha...so yea it will only make the experience more realistic :)

No. There is 50% chance that opponents will stagger when you hit them with an arrow. The exceptions to this are the bigger enemies.

I wonder who/what is considered to be "the largest opponent"? Is it based on size/hp/level/level difference? Dragons can't be stunned for sure, but who else?

Got it. thanks..

Do you recommend it ? I'm an Rogue Archer.. dunno how to explain, but my character is mostly like Russell Crowe from the Robin Hood movie... Expert with Bow n Arrow but also really good with a sword.

I use Achery from Sneak and the Perk is a must have... there is no reason not to get it... It gives you more time to land another shot :)

You find me a guy IRL who doesn't stagger when he gets shot by an arrow and I'll be impressed.

In real life, arrows and bullets are surprisingly ineffective at actually making people physically stagger. Hollywood likes to tell us otherwise, but Hollywood doesn't sell reality. People who are hit with bullets sometimes don't even realize they have been hit until they see the blood or experience pain while moving. An arrow stuck in you is harder to miss, but arrows really don't cause much trauma to the body. They are finely pointed and pierce the body rather than impacting it. There is too little kinetic transfer between the arrow and the target to cause a person to fall to their knees from being hit. Arrows kill by blood loss mainly, not the force of the arrow striking the target (unless you're hunting birds with a blunt point; there the goal is to crush the bird so it can't fly)

But even though it's not realistic, it looks cool and it's a useful ability in the game. :)
