How to remove flou in Crysis 2 on pc?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 6:33 pm

Hi. I bought Crysis 2 for pc in store and installed DX11 Tessellation and High Res Textures packages from http://www.gamesas.com/dx11 (from gamesas)

After installing those 2 packs i start the game and activate them from the options in the menu. Once done i put all

graphics settings at Ultra to have the best graphics. When i start playing online i saw flou in the game like if the

resolution was not sets well. But my resolution is good in windows 7 64 bits and in game also! So how can i

removed the flou in game. I put shader at low and post processing at minimum too but still have flou in game. What to do? Is there a way to remove Tessellation because by me it may be that?

here's my specs - amd athlon 64 x2 6400+ dual core
- ati HD 6950 2 gb edition
- 4 gigs of ram

im waiting for answers! thx!

Once you start a SP game or are in the Server for a MP game type into the console : r_PostMSAA = 0
console button is this one ` it's next to the numeral one, good luck.

Exactly, it can't be set in game.cfg either, i got it set to a macro to save me typing it every time i join a MP server.

Dude, it takes five seconds, it's gonna make the game much clearer, and yes it's the only way cause it don't 'stick' when set in the game.cfg.

Max is r_PostMSAA = 4 or you can try 3, 2, or 1.
