First BSoD for me in Windows 7 EVER!

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 8:46 am

Wow. The patch is retarded. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, 8 gig ram, ATI 6850 Xfire x2, Intel 2500k etc etc.

This is the first BSoD I have ever seen on Windows 7 and I do IT work for a living. I have everything updated to latest drivers, etc etc. This is sad. and Yes I know what I am doing. Probably more than most.

To be honest it really doesn't look that much better than Direct X 9 and the resolution is way off. 1080p not so much. More like 1600x1200 resolution.

Anyone else running into this problem?

Wow. First post on gamesas and you're bashing Crysis 2...typical. Most I.T. "workin' 4 livins" are idiots. Maybe you should try to debug your computer and fix the problem, pro. If you can't see the differences between DX9 and DX11 I'd suggest glasses. I highly doubt you know more than most on this site, which is why you're trolling here and asking questions instead of fixing the problem yourself, it's not that hard to just ask a polite question. Nobody cares that you work on computers, and its probably through Geek Squad and that means nothing.

Thanks for posting the exact BSOD message. Looking at the details you provided, I fully debugged your problem and figured out the specific solution.

Oh wait...
