I'm having trouble getting my conjure skill to level. I'm a pure mage that depends almost entirely on atronachs and bound sword with a little Lighting thrown in against mages and giants. I really want to be able to have 2 summons or zombies out but just can't seem to get my conjure to level up any more. I summon sword and atronach as soon as an enemy sees me, thinking that maybe only combat conjuring adds XP. Am I right?

Any suggestions to help me get my conjure up. I have 4 unused skill points now waiting for a perk worthy of their use.

if you don't want to cheat keep binding souls and conjuring weps/atronachs

If you are looking to abuse the system and lvl quickly just put capture soul spell in each hand, find a dead body and spam that spell on it. When you run out of mana wait 1 hour (in game) and begin casting again. You should be able to get to lvl 100 conj in about 40 mins.

That's what I did, except I still kept running through dungeons. Just kept casting it until I'd have to fight, and then just hot-keyed to my warhammer, clean house, and move on. Best of both worlds, really. Kind of like how I stock up on huge amounts of iron ore, and then just run from quest to quest casting Transmute endlessly, so I'd level both Alteration (slowly) and end up with ridiculous amounts of gold ore to make into ingots, and thus into jewelry.

Grinding any skill is always better when you can keep playing right on through it all, instead of what that video suggested.
