OMOD's randomly deactivating?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 5:52 pm

I am doing a clean install of Oblivion for the (I lost count)th time, and have experienced something I've never seen before on the Oblivion Mod Manager. I installed 7 or so very large OMODs (things like Pyffied original meshes, OOO, MMM, Warcry, and pyffied patches). After installing and activating these mods in OBMM, and doing NOTHING ELSE (did not open Wrye Bash, OBMM, Oblivion or even the Oblivion Launcher), the next time I opened up OBMM after a reboot only a few were still activated and the others were marked as deactivated, and had red or grey boxes associated with them.

Does anybody know what would have happened? Did I miss something? I haven't done a new reinstall for a year or so, is there something new with OBMM or these mods that would cause this?

Thanks in advance!

Sure do buddy. The resources are still installed as they should be. The Black Blue, Whatever color bug has already been documented.
Its in the OBMM documentation. Not even timeslip figured out why....maybe he just moved on....

It agggggrivated me enough after about twice happening and convinced me to switch to try BAIN solely and never look back. Since then I have never looked back.
It is your choice to make the switch it you want. No one forced me.
