According to the wiki i am supposed to get science/speech checks to keep the data. Specifically " With a Speech skill of 50 , you can keep the data while Keely remains alive. She will unlock the door for you and you receive positive karma. You must choose the speech option of telling Keely to not delete the data because you need it in order to get this Speech option. "

However the only option i have is to tell Kelly that i won't let her delete the data. There is absolutely no "i need the data" option. What's going on?

Even though i told kelly that hildern sent me for the data, i never get the science option either.

try a reload from before talking to her at this point. something got messed up. one of the options should be that you can lie about what you did and then she lets it slide. good option if the speach check isn't high enough.

Actually i do have a reload from before i talked to her. But the only option i get is to hand over the data, refuse (and she attacks) or lie.

I believe it's possible to access the computer terminal where she is and use it to unlock the vault door.

This you do without speaking to her , if you want to avoid confrontation.
