I want to get banned from all the three casinos on the strip.

Does anyone know the amount needed to get kicked from each casino?

Do I need to earn this much at the tables, or can I convert this amount from caps and still get kicked?

each casino has 3 levels of profits. if you win casual at every level you receive a bonus. If you make a large amount from one shot and check the last winning marker, you will not receive the bonuses (drinks and stuff) and just get banned.
in primm i think the vance casino has the lowest winnings. then the freeside casino near the van graffs (i don't remember right now it's name), an lastly the strip casinos. with many thousands of caps
The sierra madre casino let's you reach 10k chips and if you cash them as pre war money, back in NV you can sell them for caps.
otherwise i'm stuck with sierra madre chips and i'll try to buy stuff from the vendor an resell it at the NV traders (for profit i hope).
the regulary bonus chips will suffice to buy needed chems from the vendor in the bunker.

Why just the three from the Strip? You can also get banned from playing at the Atomic Wrangler and the Vikki and Vance.

Vikki and Vance: 2500 caps = BAN
Atomic Wrangler: 5000 caps = BAN
Gomorrah: 9000 caps = BAN
The Tops: 10 000 caps = BAN
Ultra Luxe: 15 000 caps = BAN

You cannot be banned by say converting caps into 10 000 chips at the Tops. You need to win the chips from the various games at each casino.

I play on Xbox, so I will get an achievement if I get banned from the three.

I don't know why you think the system matters when this game is only on platforms with a trophy/achievement system...

Vikki & Vance opens up for gambling after you complete the My Kind of Town quest. You'll get an encounter at the casino with an NCR deserter named Layla a few days after you finish the quest, and the casino will open for business three days after you deal with her.

You only need to get banned from the three casinos on The Strip to get the achievement/trophy.

On the PC, you get achievements through Steam, but the tracking for them is disabled in any game session if you cheat by using the console. You have to save, quit and restart the game to enable achievements again.

As far as I know they're just there for bragging rights. You don't get any kind of points/online store credits for collecting them.
