Black border

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 11:33 pm

This may seem like the wrong spot but just read and offer some help if you can. my GPU is a radeon 6990 and this only occers when in HDMI mode.

I am getting a black border in Crysis 1 like it's under scanned. So i went to my CCC 11.6 and fixed all the scanning issues CCC offers. For example: Under (the three selections under that are greyd out), and no success.

Then i clicked Again no effect.

And in my The overscan is set to <0%>. Why am i still getting a black border?

My monitor is a SyncMaster P2770H and i went through the settings in that and everything is fine. Also the latest driver is installed as well. This ONLY happens in Crysis 1.

If this problem was resolved elseware on this forum please link me to it, and if not i would like a solution.

Thank you.

Hi KING_OF_SAND !

I think i know your problem. Look wich frequens your monitor has when crysis is running. normaly it should have 60hz but i think your monitor run crysis at50hz. I have aktual the same problem. but you can take the border away but still have just 50 hz. you have to set at your ccc your monito temporaly at 50 hz after that you have the border and you scale it up how it should be. if you have scalet it up you can switch back to the 60hz mode. now try to start crysis and you should have the fullscreen back but remember just @50hz.

so, just to say iam sorry for my very bad english but i hope i could help you a little bit.
