Useful Magic Item

Post » Sun Oct 18, 2009 7:08 am

The first time I saw a Belt of Free Action I thought "Wow, Cure paralysis on Self, now that's useful! Wait, how do I cast it if I'm paralyzed?"
What was the most useless item you found in Morrowind? (vanilla or modded)

The http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tribunal:BiPolar_Blade is pretty wacky.

From mods, well I've seen a lot of pointless things in mods. :P

Ah ah! That's quite a weird blade with a funny story.

how about the bone guard belt? Its has summon skeleton for 10 seconds. The idea is not as bad as the belt of free action, but the skeleton never has the chance to DO ANYTHING before he disappears

Forget a belt that cures paralysis. I can enchant a Daedric Tower Shield with constant effect paralyze. Hilarious when you sell it and the merchant equips it.

Feather as a spell is pretty useless. Good for CE items, but not very useful for a spell.

Burden even more so.

I want to give Meldor one of those. I once stole from him and disliked getting caught. What happens? Does he report still?

I'd make a housing mod extension there!

Belt of Free Action here, as well.
*paralyzed*
Finally! Time to use this sweet belt!
*three seconds later*

The Amulet of Locking seems pretty useless to me. If I want to practice security, I'm not sure relocking a chest at 5 and then picking it (on repeat) would be my preferred method.

It is handy for Security training though... for roleplaying.

It's also neat to lock a door, so that an angry NPC cannot open it and chase you. Then you can heal yourself, and unlock the door when you're ready to fight again.

I never thought of that.

Also if you are renting a Room with Tribunal installed then lock the door so if you are awakened by a loud noise...you at least have a chance to ready your self.
