i have huge problem with startup crash. i try to search google but everything is not work.
game crash immediately when i start game.

any solutions left?

my system:

os: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
gpu: AMD Radeon hd 6850 1gb oc-Edition
cpu: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2,5GHz (4CPUs)
Ram: 6gb Ddr 2 1333MHz

i buy game 3 days ago and never play Crysis 2. i hope some solutions found, or I'll break the CD-ROM and forget about the C2.

i say break it and save yourself the frustration. because once you get it loaded and working, you will get to find all these bugs and other problems people are reporting

I don't recommend trowing away 60 $ Have you tried running it as a Administrator, and have you tried the "Troubleshoot compatiblity" button? And tell us how does the game crash?

Check event viewer, it might say what caused it to crash

can run anything. because crash immediately. even i run admin.

picture can easy: immediately black screen only see mouse cursor. normal and when i go to left/right/top/down in monitor in that mouse, its coming "ring". middle of monitor its cursor. and middle of that is "crysis 2 stopped workin" even i dont SEE it. (confirmed to ctrl+alt+del -> plaaplaa its bounce "crysis2.exe not response)

some sort of anti virus issue maybe not allowing startup?

Yes, turn of your Windows Defender and Anti-virus....

is not anti-virus because i try to offline. even firewall.

i try only c2 runnin everything others off only modules what keeps windows 7 up is running.

Had the same problem before, but after i updated my drivers i can now just alt+tab out and in again and it works
