What things do you wish bethesda had kept from oblivion?????


I wish they had kept the 'Detect life' continuous ability and the 'invisibility' continuous ability.

for my part i miss the spells and spell creation, i miss all the deadra types (im a deadra nut)

i miss quest like through a night mare darkly, or the brush of true paint

Umbra's absence is a heinous and foul crime. Bethesda, put Umbra in some DLC. Or else.

Chillrend is in Skyrim too.

I don't think there's much that I really miss. Thought Thieves Guild had more "thief-like" quest line in Oblivion.

AI that just said "hi" when you walked by instead of giving me their life story EVERY SINGLE TIME I WALK BY.

the narrative quality. it was bad to be sure, but better than skyrim... also the guild length.

I missed more subtle things in the game like the ingame newspaper that would report on your character progress. I would have thought with the civil war going on both sides would be engaged in a propaganda campaign. Sure there are books but they are static.

from Daggerfall I miss horeback combat, climbing, levitation, carts, rep system with every nation and faction in tamriel, knightly orders, temple factions, and many other things that simply are not possible anymore due to needing graphics that don't look like hell and to have non-randomly generated terrain.

the ability to place object where ever i want and how ever i want in my house with out been afraid to see them every where on my floor............
