Wispmothers... creepy like hell...

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 2:22 pm

Am i the only one who just can't stand those Wispmothers? They are the scariest enemies in the game in my opinion... i just don't know what, but something freaks me out about them everytime...
Their faces are just emotionless and they float around... grrr...

At least theyre better than the wisps in oblivion. Those things were annoying. But yes I agree very creepy. I've only come across maybe 5 in my 100 hrs of playing.

I love fighting them.

They have this move that makes two Shade clones of themsleves that they start to use when they get below half health. The awesome part is that if you're stealth+bow you can get them to start triggering that move over and over again until there's a literal army of shades. I once got one to spawn about 16 Shades, and had the whole little army running around with the Throw Voice shout.

Edit: They also completely [censored] dragons.

Generally kill me in two or three goes of their frost spike spell. Master difficulty is a cold mistress.

I play on Expert... but i never realized yet that HOW they attack at all... All i've seen is the cloning trick and that they stay close to me..

They have an Ice Spike type spell, but it's special because from what I've seen it fires off three spikes at once rather than just one.

I managed to sneak up on one, sadly they don't have any musical moaning or anything going on, I thought they would for some reason.

Make sure you look for the Wisp Cores after you manage to kill her, they are worth the searching.

They have a few attacks:
The Wisps drain life, or just damage it...I can never tell if they are healing her or not.
Shades do a kamikaze aoe frost explosion that is obscene damage.
