Why are petitions not allowed?

Contact an admin for concerns on rules. Posting about why this or that isn't allowed is against said rules you should have read when you joined.

Petitions are single topic no-discussion threads and give no representation of the issue at hand. They're more or less spam.

people posting spam make me write up warnings and posting ability suspensions.

Please do not post a thread about a locked thread. If you have questions as to why a thread was locked or why certain rules are in place you need to PM a moderator or administrator.


Pretty much. Petition threads generally turn into a list of people posting "sign me up" and what not, even when the OP is directing people to use a petition made off-site.
