Have you found a fix for this yet? I was running just fine on Vista 64 and then today I upgraded if you want to call it that to Windows 7 and all I get is the "failed to initialize the GameStartup Interface!" I have uninstalled it and I am not going to install origin this time around and instll the patches disconnected from the internet to see if it works. But if not, It would be nice to know if their is a fix for this.

Ok, I uninstalled Crysis 2, I uninstalled Origin, Re-booted and deleted the empty folders. I installed Crysis 2 and applied the patch myself. I did not let the automated download go through and My Crysis 2 is back up and running. I am afraid to do the high res and dx11 downloads now that I have my game back up and running. LOL But what the heck, I can always start over again. Hope this helps some others with this issue.
