Congratulate me for not buy Skyrim (yet) - part 2

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 7:36 pm

I guess I can put an emphasis on my prior post.

*MAN* am I glad I didn't buy Skyrim at release. (please add congratulations here)

I always buy everything day 0 and have been playing TES forever. However, I resisted this most recent launch. Looks like I made the right decision.

First off, its ported from the ancient relics that are the current generation of consoles... I have more processing power in my BIOS chip, I believe. Then there's the real complaints: Horrendous textures, even worse shadows, hundreds of bugs (see the compiled forum buglist post), joke of a PC interface that borders on unusable, Directx9 , 2gb of usage even tho they recommend for 4gb in the specs. Then there's the stealth patch that screwed the game up for many paying consumers. Now the latest debacle, patch 1.2, that basically does nothing (for PC users, since that's what I am talking about here) and creates new problems. What a freaking joke.

So basically another PC elitism thread.

:goodjob:

If you don't want to buy the game on release, then don't. It's not a congratulatory circumstance.

Congratulations for adding more spam-static to the busy forums. Honestly, was this really necessary - it helps no one, isn't talking about the game and seems designed to get peoples' backs up. Well done.
