My char is shrinking ... need help THX

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 12:32 pm

Hi there,

suddenly i figured out that my char is getting smaller and smaller ... I think it started some days ago ... now my char is even ONE head smaller than my follower !

He hasn't any illness or anything I could see ...
I am not sure, but it could be after I have cured the werewolf illness !

SO IS THERE A CONSOLE COMMAND that I could revert that process ... like

set char to height 6"3

IS IT A BUG or do I have to solve a quest ?
If it is a quest ... please could someone tell me which one ?

THANK YOU ... really looks terrible if you are a head smaller than your npc follower girlfriend :-)

It's something like setscale=1.0. Don't quote me on that, I don't have it on PC. But it's something similar.

HELLO AND THANK YOU

that worked ...

1,) First mark you char, with the mouse cursor
2.) In the console type

setscale 1

NOW my char is back to normal, as he was ... so what joke was that BETHESDA ? Bug or Quest or what ?

Never heard of a quest that shrinks your character. That's a pretty weird bug. I blame sheogorath.

Got the same problem on my PS3 version of the game. :/ Is there a way to fix it, or do i have to wait a year for a patch? -.-

You know, I thought I was imagining things, but I seemed to be way shorter over the last few days. I'm going to have to check this out when I get home. Could there actually be a shrinking bug? That would be insane.

Ha ha. I think I have this problem too. I was just showing my wife that when I talk to people, I'm looking at their boobs or chests. I used to look people in the eye. I bet i need to fix this too. I'll have to mark this thread for when I get home.

Weird.
