Looking for a mod that has NPCs who hunt/track/ try to kill

I haven't had any luck finding anything of the sort even though I'm pretty sure I've seen them before.

I also thought I saw one for the Dark Brotherhood but I can't find it now.

Please help, and thanks in advance.

This isn't a real earthshaker, but...

A resident of Bartholm asked that you safeguard a precious object. So long as you possess this item (it can be returned to the giver at any time) lone assassins seek you out once every three or four days. These assassins aren't overly tough. They do, however, add a bit of unpredictability to what can be an otherwise predictable game. One thing I like is that the assassins don't spawn right on top of you but rather some distance away. On a number of occasions I've been alerted to their presence after hearing shouts and the crank of steel emanating from near a city gate. The assassin had been spotted by guards while entering the city. Sometimes I know of an attempt only because I chanced upon the body of an assassin felled by some wandering guard or alert citizen. And of course I'll sometimes wake to find one who beat the odds and made it to my sleeping quarters. If memory serves, one even followed me into an Oblivion gate.

Again, it's no big thing. Just a little something to spice up game-play. Bartholm itself is worth installing for the city it adds in what can otherwise be a rather underutilized section of Cyrodiil, ULs discounted. Some associated quests too.

Unfortunately it adds a huge fort just outside Imp City, which also makes it problematic to remove the mod from an ongoing game as you'll end up with the nearby cave being inaccessible as its entrance is moved by the mod.
