Small problem with All Natural mod.

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 12:16 am

I assume I built the bash patch incorrectly but from what I can tell I did everything correctly.

Does anyone have any ideas?

How exactly did you build it? Did you also put the weather filter in the patch?

What exactly do you mean you "can't see through windows" ? All Natural doesn't allow you to see through windows, that's the Immersive Interiors mod that accompanies it.

And if you see the sky color through windows then All Natural's working fine.

Yes I included that. I read the readme and looked around online and I did every step correctly from what I can tell. As well as All Natural I downloaded the update as well. I don't know if I applied it correctly but here's what I did, I extracted the mod, then replaced all files in the mod with the fil;es from the update archive, I then recompressed that and used it to build the omod. I assume that was the correct way to use the update?

Here is a quote from the readme:

Natural Interiors

Natural Interiors was originally created by Wormheart, and its purpose was to make it so interior locations such as houses and guilds had windows you could look out of and see the actual sky that matched the exterior weather. The mod also featured proper time of day progression and interior weather sounds (the sounds being originally featured in the “Weather Inside” mod). The result of all this was the ability to look out an interior window and see the sunset, clouds, stars, storms, etcetera, having the interior lighting level change based on it being sunny, cloudy, nighttime, etcetera, and hearing rain and storm sounds from within.

Sadly, Natural Interiors was never finished and had some issues. However, All Natural includes a totally finished and issues-free expanded version that cannot be found outside of All Natural. Note that the Natural Interiors segment of All Natural cannot be separated from All Natural, so you must use All Natural in full to benefit from the Natural Interiors segment.

I see, I thought that Natural Interiors was supposed to allow you to see more than simply sky. My mistake. However Immersive Interiors does not seem to be included at all and I can not actually see any sky it is simply a solid color that matches the sky color, there is no texture at all. I will download the Immersive Interiors mod and install it.

So my problem was actually not the problem I stated, I apparently am not suppposed to see the cities and towns through the windows but I should at least see sky right?

EDIT: I don't know if it makes a difference but I have diabled the use of Real Lights.

You should be able to see the sky color, and the light levels of interiors should vary throughout the day corresponding to the light levels outdoors.

All Natural should let you see the sky through the windows, and therefore should change the lighting levels within interiors to reflect the weather/time of day outside.
Immersive Interiors isn't included with All Natural, I develop it as a separate mod. However it is entirely reliant on All Natural to work, and lets you see the cities from through the windows.
