Favourite city? : V - Skyrim

big city is kinda a weird thing to say
dawnstar winterhold Falkreath Morthal and riverwood are all just nothing more then smal towns

like markath for it looks but cant really live there
windhelm just feels too tight

but still cant decide between solitude riften and whiterun

Dawnstar and Morthal dont even have General stores!
at least Winterhold and Falkreath have reasons for being small

Whiterun.

It's such a lovely town.

When the Stormcloaks catapulted the nice town into oblivion, I swear I striked the Stormcloaks foolish enough to approach the gate so hard it was as if I was possessed by the Daedric prince of destruction, Mehrune Dagon!

Can't really tell i am 15+ hours in the game and i am still in Whiterun :vaultboy: but i play slowly and not fast travel or carts. I can't wait to go to Solitude though but it's very far away.

Trust me, Solitude is awsome! I've been there ever seince I joined the legion.

I have to say, I started off likeing riften, but I like markarth the best now. Its isolated,has amazing sceanery and buildings. best of all, I love my home there, its like my little bunker whaere my stealth bosmer can retreat to when he needs to take a rest.

hmm.. Whiterun feels most home to me, (maybe because my only house is actually there) but I do also love Falkreath for it's location. I might buy a house there too

Solitude, for one the location it's at is beautiful, but looks kinda dangerous. (hopefully the arch holds hehe) Also I just like the whole design, the Italy Renaissance looking palace. Middle Aged/rustic stone buildings. The castle, idk I think its just cool.

Markarth. When I saw the house in it I almost cried with joy, it has everything you could ever need in a house. I won't spoil the initial surprise for anyone, but let's just say that they took some tips from the most popular housing and display mods for Oblivion.

Proud to say I haven't been to all of them yet.

I've been staying in one area and really milking it before I set off for new venture.

Helps keep the world big.

This is what I'm doing. I explored Riverwood, Whiterun, and Winterhold (which took 5 mins), now in Riften. Must get my bearings before moving on. Can't wait to see the rest!!

I voted for Markarth as I like how it looks the best. Riften was up there though since I am Thief and that is where my cozy house resides. However, I haven't been to EVERY town and by every I mean I haven't been to Falkreath yet.

134 hours in, and I still haven't even been to Dawnstar or Morthal. So far, I think I like Markarth the best.

40 hours in and I've only been to Whiterun, Solitude, Winterhold, Riften and Dawnstar. I got a lot left to see. But, so far I really like Solitude it feels like a good home and it feels great to be there.

Whiterun is an amazing city, on my 3rd character I'm the Harbinger of the Companions, so it only seems right that I live in Whiterun.

I also love Markarth, it's a beautiful city and I'm proud Thane on my second character.

Kind of disapointed with Solitude though, although it's a beautiful city, I wish it was a lot bigger and more populated, doesn't really seem like a capital as the Imperial City did.

I WOULD say Solitude, but I just cannot get out of Whiterun. It's just home to me, I guess. I feel the most relaxed there.

By the dubs, does anyone else get the creeps (or just a weird.. vibe) when they're in Markarth, or is it just me?
