Activate a certain gamesetting by holding down a key

I want to make a tiny mod that sets the following two gamesettings temporarily to zero while pressing a button, so the values should return to their default (or a number that can be set) when the button is released:

fVanityModeAutoDelay = 0 by pressing a certain button X
fVanityModeDelay = 0 by pressing a certain button Y

I never made a script, so is that possible? I found the following two entries at the TES CS Wiki that may be useful:

http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/SetNumericGameSetting
http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/TapKey

Now I don`t know how to stitch all of this together, but maybe you can help me or give me some hints.

The purpose of the mod is to have 3 buttons: one for switching between first and third person perspective ("R"), one for activating Vanity Mode without delay (maybe "Y") and one for activating the cinematic Vanity Mode (maybe "U").

I could give this a go for you. Not the most complex thing in the world but hardly suitable for a first script. If you want me to make it for you then I'll be more than happy to give it a go.

That would be an honor to me, SWG. I`m modifying a lot of scripts from the mods I use, but writing scripts on your own is a completely different story.

I would like to anolyze your script after it`s finished. Maybe you can post it here or send me the ESP? Maybe you should consider to release it? There`s nothing like this available yet.
