Can you store your collected items in wilderness shacks? I found a place called Riverside Shack and I want store some of my gear in there.

I wouldn' do it it. Only the houses you purchased are safe to store your items in.

I think that Riverside Shack specifically has a non-respawn chest. Specially because a unique Treasure Map III is found in that chest.

They'll disappear after a month if you don't check in. I personally prefer looting everything then hosing the place with flame magic before walking away.

So chests respawn monthly??

I've often wondered this, having read about chests in such places not being particularly 'safe' storage solutions. A few of them I've gone back after a little while (not more than a month though) and my stuff has still been there. Other times I think it hasn't, but I dunno....I've cached stuff all over the place I lose track :huh:

EDIT: 'Cos a hut in the middle of nowhere would suit my character idea more than a house in a town. Also though, since the player doesn't techincally own the bed, you don't get the 'Well Rested' bonus, just 'Rested'. Which is still of course better than nothing I suppose.

Well I'm going to give it a try and hope that my stuff doesn't get erased.

Man, I miss those open-top rice sacks.

Weren't they grain sacks?
