Does anyone know how much damage is mitigated when blocking an attack? It says http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Block "when blocking, almost all physical damage will be cut in half", but clearly it must vary with the Shield Wall perk and items which give bonus block, and it would be surprising if it wasn't affected by skill rating. If it means that the base damage blocked is 50%, then it would be fairly easy to reach 100% mitigation with Shield Wall and enchanted items. Is there a cap?
