Thats a lame blow. Its possible he has a job and simply spent all his free time playing, it's possible he cannot find one because of the state of the economy, but it's not anyone else's right to judge that anyhow.

I've had more time than usual to play Skyrim because I'm stuck at home for medical reasons and will continue to be for several months. If someone criticized my amount of played hours in front of me and said I needed a job, I'd be leveling my Unarmed skill even if it's been cut from the game :P

Skyrim and painkillers is an interesting combo, is all I,ve got to say.

Well....
Nice job man
Too bad DLC is like 3 months away.....
And an expansion pack prolly wont happen til next year.....but its all good

Me personally:
- i have 6 characters
- have put at least a weeks worth of hours in
- have only done the first mission of every guild
- have never done a civil war quest
- have only killed 4 dragons
- have only met esbern and then deleted that character for the main quest
- have reached level 40 for all 6 of my characters
- have only discovered very few locations
- spent most of time doing small radient quests
- spent most of my time walking around.....
........and making characters.....

I think it's even more impressive that he did this on PS3, the platform with most debilitating problems with performance.

There is no doubt he had fun playing, unless he just loves to torture himself.

179 hours here, and I finished everything but the Dark Brotherhood and a few quests that were bugged. Of course, now I'm back to working so I have less time to play. Nowhere near done with Skyrim though, I'm looking forward to playing on a different type of character and having a different experience.

I'm ready for some DLC Bethesda!

Perhaps in the meantime you should go outside for 20 minutes, come back in, start a new game as a different archetype, and enjoy another 260 hours of Skyrim. :D

Have a platinum trophy on the PS3.

Completed all of the quests that one character can do including all the Radiant quests at least once.

Explored all the locations. Cleared all the dungeons. The only thing I didn't do is create all the weapons because I didn't put points into Smithing and Enchanting. I am also not max level because I ran out of places to go. The only quests I did not complete are six that are bugged and cannot be completed without starting new characters.

I guess this thread is for those that want a rough estimate on how long it will take to complete the game. I did a lot of lollygagging so my guess is that you could easily complete everything in around 200 hours if you went for speed.

I'm ready for some DLC Bethesda!

You don't understand. Now you have to do all of that again using a completely different playstyle. And then again. Then again.

Ooooo....platinum!
Bragging rights for video gameplay; You are soooo cool! :cookie:

Platinum?
Is that the best?
I heard Uranium is better after you get the Fission/Fusion achievement as it obliterates everything.
At least you played for the hours you stated. That in itself carries more weight than some stupid trophy/classification.

As a game player I could care less about Steam achievements or PS3 trophies. (I own a PS3 as well)
I'd rather play the game like I did with Morrowind and Oblivion without being told I was special for the things I accomplished from a third party and telling the populace, I rule at a video game!
The game itself should let you be aware of this fact. Levels, stats, objectives completed, etc.

Didja know or care that I was the Asteroids champion of the world? *my horn....tooting*
Nope but I do and that's all that matters and I don't care that you don't.

:swear:

The PS3 problems were frustrating. I can't tell how may times I had to restart my PS3 because of crashes, bugs, and lag.

The patch did help a little but the PS3 still has major problems.

I would recommend playing it on another platform and maybe teach Sony that they need to get their act together and start working with developers to get the product they are selling up to an acceptable standard. I blame Bethesda more then Sony, but I also blame the retailers for selling us a product they don't test or can vouch for.

Nice, it's amazing how different people's experiences with the game can be. I've put about 120 hours in since release. I haven't touched any guild and have only scratched the surface on dungeons. The bottom line is the same though, hundreds of hours of fun.

Guild quests will only last you a few hours each guild

So if you slept for 8 hours a day that would leave you with roughly 3.5 hours a day to eat, shower, [censored], work, and all the other daily activities. I don't know weather to call BS or to be awestruck and saddened by your lack of a life. Either way, you sure got your monies worth. I wish I could put in 1/10th of the time some of you guys have.

My life was Skyrim. I guess you don't consider that a life. I am in the process of starting boot camp for the US Military. I basically have nothing but free time until then. The weather has svcked. Girls are in hibernation or something because I haven't had much luck meeting any lately. What else is there in life besides computers and women? Nothing that really interests me at the moment.

I am unemployed I guess until I ship out. I doubt I could find a job anyways around here (I live in Rhode Island, highest unemployment in the USA).
