So I found an ebony bow at level 4 and I went to check google and it turns out this is handplaced. After reading all the rage threads about level scaling, I was brain washed into thinking there was no handplaced items like that. Well Just thought I'd share this and Ill be on the look out for more.

i found my trusty Ebony Handaxe at lvl 8

Found two glass swords at level 9 lol.

Level scaling is so minor it's not even funny, yet day after day there's [censored]ing about how prevalent it is. WRONG!

Oh I agree man, I've had heated debates with people that were insisting the level scaling and loot scaling was identical to oblivion. Thats why I made this post.

Dude, that dungeon does not level scale. It is guarded by a Draugr Overlord. Most lvl4 toons will be one shot.

Did you sneak past? Or run away? I couldnt do it at level 16 with Lydia.

Ya I had just went to Labyrinthian with my main character level 34 and I went into that side dungeon and found two ebony weapons so I figured I'd load up a new character and test it out and sure enough there they were. I used god mode to get it at level 4 lol. I just wanted to see if there was actual hand placed loot. Im sure you could do it without god mode though. Just need to sneak past.

They won't listen, and they're as wrong as can be. I've found glass stuff at level 5 and am finding Iron stuff at level 51. It's not even close to being like Oblivion.

I completed that dungeon and instead of a bow I got an axe. This was at level 35+.

I was severely saddened because I am a ranger archetype and I was using a glass bow at the time, trying to upgrade it in this dungeon because I heard it was a placed item. Although now I'm 56 and just completed the Thieves Guild line netting me that sixy Nightingale bow.

Anything "Nightingale" is leveled loot, with the top tier presenting itself to players of level 46 and above.

I came through that dungeon at a low level and had to reload quite a few times. Besides the bow I also found the ebony sword.
