a strange obmm problem with tesgen!

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 3:04 am

hi all.

what is with tesgen, when i try to generate my lods, a fatal exception error comes up telling me that oblivion.esm is out of order and obmm tells me that it is not! if i "redate" the oblivion esm in weye list, then *another* esm "cries" that it is out of order with oblivion esm!

what gives?!
[edit]
I "solved" this by re-running BOSS, now I have to hand reorder some mods all over again!

thanks...freestone

It would be very helpful if you would post your load order, direct from Wrye Bash's "List Mods" function.

I think I found out the culprit..

but there is a *STRANGE* issue! twice now I have seen this with weye. when I added both the "incorrect" slaughterfish.esp and now the corrected one, seems somehow the timestamps on ALL my mods are ruined so that even oblivion.esm is not dated right!!
the only fix was to have me re-run BOSS again to recreate my load order, thus I have to re-order by hand things like ALL the unigue landscapes mods to be above ownc!
stange one, this.

---a patch mod for ownc. so simple looking, this fix, but all my timestamps were then thrown off such that even in obmm if oblivion.esm was at the top, still out of order. only reBOSSing would fix this, then reorder again by hand a few mods.
