Where are all these promises? Large open environments, procedural destruction and physics, advanced AI ?

Lies? or not integrated into Crysis 2?

WTF are you talking about? This looks like a Cryengine 3 demonstration to me.

Exactly! You deliberately did not understand or what?

All this demonstration of CE3, Large open environments, procedural destruction and physics, advanced AI, why it is not in the final product ?

You have better understood?

Your a moron, CE3 and C2 are 2 different topics, the CE3 demo was pushing the engine to its brink, thus showing you amazing visuals, crysis2 runs on CE3 although i admit it doesn't skim the surface. ALl in all, do your research before making rage posts.

You can do all that in the editor but you just need to be good enough to show it in it's best light.

Those first two scenes are both from Crysis. Makes you wonder if Crytek haven't already got Crysis 1 running under CE3

Thank you, I also knows this video, and indeed I should have posted this one ;)

I just wanted to know why, as in the video, some effects such as physics, are not in the final game...

If Crysis 2 does not add in advanced destruction, BF3 is going to take the cake this year. In this day in age if you are making a game like Crysis or BF3, YOU SURE AS HELL better add pretty destruction. It was understandable back in the day why not. But not having it in a video game now is stupid.

Dude im happy with what we have, unless you rig can run Crysis 2 on max like butter, i suggest no one complains, funny how the majority of people complain its not amazing yet they cant even run the game on max with a minimum of 30fps. Although yes it would have been nice for destruction, but you have no idea how long it takes to recreate that shiznet in the editor. Would probably take a team like 2 months. A long 2 months full of sweat and no pay.

My rig can run this game on max setting like butter.

Also this should have been implemented at the beginning

And i think whether a persons rig can run it is irreverent. I see nothing wrong with a company future proofing there game. If our rigs can't run it now, they will in the future.

Tu fait honte au francais ferme ta criss de tabarnac de geule.

All of those are in the CryEngine 3, they weren't implemented in the game for whatever reason, probably rushing the game, thanks EA. Good job at being self-centered.

What does look good are the particles when you shoot wood. In Lab Rat at the harbour, shot the wood walk way and you'll see a lot of wood. It's not destruction but the wood bits stay live in pieces.
