You have Oblivion Warcry: New Dimension on your poll, however that is not part of FCOM.

Warcry, however, which is part of FCOM is a totally separate mod.

There's an overhaul comparison thread around here somewhere that lists how they differ. Which is best for you will depend on whether you want the world to revolve around the player, or whether the redesign should focus on the location and world itself, in which the player is just one more actor. OOO tends to focus more on the latter approach, while some of the others focus more on the former.

If you're looking for a FCOM-lite, then OOO is probably the closest thing since that's really the core of FCOM.

You can use FCOM without Frans and Warcry, heck you can even use FCOM without Mart's has well via using the FCOM_Oscuro'sOverhaul.esp.

OOO is pretty much dominate Mod in FCOM itself..

OOO and MMM run perfect together, so why separate?

Depends on what you want:

For difficulty, hard combat - OOO or Warcry
For monsters - MMM or Frans
For items - Frans

My opinion, use OOO and MMM (MMMforOOO) if not playing FCOM.

It's all a matter of opinion, isn't it? There's something to like in all of them, which is why FCOM is so popular. Personally, I'm on my first run through with FCOM, and so far the things that have made me sit up and go "Wow, where did that come from?" have all been part of MMM. The very few things I've found to dislike (inebriation, for example) have all been part of OOO. If I do another rebuild and it's not FCOM, it'll definitely be Frans+MMM. I won't ever be without MMM for sure.

Seconded, I could never be doing with FCOM, too complicated, but I managed MMM for OOO and I'm happy. FCOM would probably cause my rig to catch fire anyway.

Although, Warcry: New Dimension looks interesting, I might give that a go.

Not from my experience. Adding MMM to a stable OOO game caused me endless CTDs.

I plan to do a FCOM setup one day, but for now I don't want to modify the balance of the game too much. So I just use MMM. If you want more than just monsters though, you'll have to go with one of the other mods.

You'll have to be a little more specific on what your looking for you want opinions.
OOO, Frans and WarCry are game overhauls, which alter much more than just creatures. If it's only extra critters that your after then Mart's is the obvious choice.

The best idea is to browse the appropriate threads and read the mod readme's to see exactly what each mod does.

I would have to say OOO. I know OWC isn't apart of FCOM but it actually looks really promising and kinda cool. I'm planning on replacing FCOM with it in my next run through (its doubtful due to Skyrim  ) but again OOO or OWC.
