Yes SKYRIM is a buetiful wonder beyond words. Its like jumping into a fantasy painting from some graphics site like DeviantArt or a pulp magazine cover by Frank Frazetta or Simon Bisley. The fact that am being drawn to so many things in the world that are not combat related is a shocker for someone like me who loves dungeon exploring. The npcs are some of the most interesting i have ever seen in a game with believable behaviour with plenty of variety. Its great to see a drunk fitting the image aswell as children acting like real children. Wildlife feels so alive am afraid to kill them and end their convincing simulated lives playing out before my eyes.
The kill animations are orgismic in their execution. Every time they occur i find myself saying the word "POWER!" in my head. Very brutal stuff with plenty of thats gotta hurt moments.
The underground caves are a vast mix of the sensual and the escalating fear of something unnatural watching one.
Mages are alot of fun to engage since they are tough customers in a fight.
Books are so attention grabbing i have to force myself to not read them otherwise i'll never get out of my SKYRIM home.
Buying a home and coming home seeing my companion relaxing in a room is a fun experiance but took a bit of getting use to. This is also the first time i've owned a non-DLC home since playing DAGGERFALL. Very nice and simple system to get a place to live.
