Anyone else get anxious when...

The owner of whichever shop/house you're sneaking around knows you're sneaking and is coming to look at you?

Can't be just me. Can it? :sadvaultboy:

I think it might just be you. Describe the level of anxiousness...on a scale of 1-10. 1 being completely relaxed. 10 being covering your eyes and muttering to yourself irl saying "They won't find me, they won't find me..."

I once snuck up into a bed room and had a peak about. Had no intention to steal anything, but I turn around and a woman is just standing in the dorrway staring at me. I bricked my underwear! Did not hear her follow me.

I never did much thieving in Oblivion because it unnerves me too much. I have a clean record in Skyrim apart from 2 trespasses and 2 assaults (no idea what those were). I've stolen things, sure, but I have to be really confident that the owners aren't going to come in (i.e., they're out, dead, or asleep). I'll only steal in sneak, of course, so I can see the icon, even if theoretically, no one's around. I've been "seen" in supposedly safe situations before when someone waltzed in in a split second. Like that little girl at one of the inns...she saw me, so I exited sneak, and she told me I dropped a (stolen) platter. Sigh.

A solid 6 I'd say. Perhaps a 7. The hair on the back of my neck stands up, my mouth gets dry, a sudden sense of nausea comes and I can feel everything tensing up..I almost start to cry, even.

In that situation, anxious and stabby are one in the same for me.

Yeah kinda. I get more iffy though when I'm out exploring and the music hits indicating there's an enemy nearby.
