Almsivi restoration

Post » Sun Oct 18, 2009 11:26 pm

Hello I am playing the Xbox version of Morrowind (non GOTY) and am having an issue:

The Tribunal is supposed to have the Almsivi restoration blessing on it which restores all attributes and skills by 100 points BUT it doesn't, I am looking at the one in Balmora right now and the only options are:

Lady's Grace: Fortify Endurance 5pts for 48min
Soul of Sotha Sil: Fortify Magicka 5pts for 48min
Vivec's Mystery*: Fortify Luck 10pts for 48min

But

Almsivi Restoration*: Restore all Attributes and Skills 100pts

Is not on the list.

Can someone please help me out with what I should do? I have my willpower at 0/30 for some reason and there are no effects on me that actually effect Willpower and I need to use that blessing.

Did you try looking at other shrines in other temples?

You can use Divine Intervention and get all of your attributes restored (for a fee unless you're in the Imperial Cult) at an Imperial Shrine Altar instead. Or buy (or create) a Restore WIllpower Potion.

Yes I tried in Ald-Ruan and Gnises as well both of which have the shrine and both of which don't have the option for Almsivi Restoration.

I fixed my attributes by going to an Imperial Cult alter and Restoring Attributes but...I still want the other one fixed if possible.

And oddly enough the Restore Willpower potions weren't working.......

You have to make sure the shrine is specifically called "Shrine of the Tribunal"

There is one in the Balmora Temple, but it is upstairs.

Other ones that are easy to find are:
  • Ald-rhun, Temple (upstairs again)
  • Gnisis, Fort Darius (lowest floor, in the corner)
  • Ald Velothi, Outpost
  • Sadrith Mora, Telvanni Council House
  • Each of the Temples in the Hlaalu, Telvanni and Redoran Vivec Cantons.

There are more scattered around, mostly in Ancestral Tombs.

If they still do not exist in your game, then they must not have been in non-GOTY.

Very strange that the potions weren't working...Did you have something 'boosting' willpower? If you had no enchantments at all affecting Willpower, it sounds like a glitch. Were the potions homemade or professionally done?

I have checked all the ones I could find and all of them say Shrine of the Tribunal when i hover over them and none of the ones in town have the option...IN TOWN

This is what I found really strange is that if I find one in an ancestral tomb it has the Almsivi Restoration option but the ones in town don't.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Potions were professionally done and nothing at all in any way was effecting Will power.

But now I for some weird reason have my spear skill is boosted by 10 points (I use a Devil Spear and when I cast a spell it turns into a Bound Spear with +10 points to Spear CE for about 60 seconds) But even without the spear it is still enhanced by 10 points...with the spear it is now enhanced by 20 :o

Once again there is nothing at all effecting the Spear Skill in any way...can someone help me with this as well. I want it back to normal.

On Xbox, there's nothing you can do.
I guess the non-GOTY just didn't have the same scripts on each shrine.

I guess not because either way the restore Skills doesn't work even on the ones in the Ancestral Tombs that ACTUALLY HAVE the option.

Can someone help me on the Spear matter?
