Looking for shadeMe's OBGEv2.dll Update

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 12:40 am

After experiencing some serious issues with OBGE v3, i decided to revert back to v2, however i don't have shadeMe's OBGEv2.dll Update (It fixes a few bugs with saving/loading games and transparency effects). I tried looking at some earlier posts with the link but they were expired. Can someone give me a link to this file? Thanks.

Dunno how you installed obge v3, but i am impressed, its working totally fine on my midrange rig. Not that it just brought a performance boost, even the quality is just professional. perhaps you havent installed it correctly, i cant confirm any flaws of v3 since I was used to them in v2.

Could you describe what packages you did use and how you did install it? Probably we can help this way too. :user:

I have only used OBGE so that screeneffects will work. I don't use the shaders. Literally all I did was remove the files from OBGE v2 from my data folder, clean save, insert the files from OBGE v3 into my data folder and run oblivion. When I ran oblivion, everything seemed okay, but then I walked into the house of mania, and the floor literally melted. The entire screen was streaked with thin stripes the color of the floor and would scroll down like a piece of corrupted film indefinitely. I tried changing the OBGE ini, but doing so caused my fps to drop from 60 to 6. After restoring my ini, deleting the OBGE v3 files and re-entering the OBGEv2 files everything returned to normal.

EDIT: I re-downloaded the files and tried again seems to work now--haven't seen the screen melt yet

EDIT 2: the screen definitely melts still. reverting back to v2
