Dark Brotherhood questline is awesomely sick.

Did anyone besides me find that the Dawnstar segment was a sudden spike in difficulty? I was playing on expert and pretty much having no issues with my dual dagger stealth build and once I got there the damn guardians were no friggin' joke. I think it was simply my build, I was still relatively low in level and thus sneak, at the time but the guardians detected me with no problem at all and going toe to toe with them was brutal at that point.

Also, kind of funny but annoying video game/movie trope:

Spoiler
You follow Cicero throughout the sanctuary, he's bleeding like a stuck pig. You reach him and his gasping for life and begging to be left alive. Then I walk up to put him out his misery. I hit him with a dual wield power attack and the mofo pops up at full health fighting like a madman as though he's not wounded at all. What the?

All in all I enjoyed the mission though. I just wish, as in just about every quest, there were more choices.

I think it was good, but not "awesomely sick". I do have to agree, once I started I couldn't stop till I finished it, but I hoped it would be longer and had a few more choices in terms of the storyline.

I completed the Thieves Guild and Nightingales lines. They were pretty decent.

I just started the Dark Brotherhood last night. Only did a couple quests so far and, well, right now it's kinda boring. I'm hoping it gets more interesting than just kill this person and kill that person...

Hmm. Shame I'll never see it. Never did the Oblivion one either.... Lucien only spawned for two of my characters, and I immediately killed him both times. (He's a Bad Guy? after all. :) )

Ah, well.

I wouldn't know because the Questline bugs out on me during "Whispers in the dark." Was having fun until that point anyways.

I was really underwhelmed to be honest. Probably just because the DB quest line in Oblivion was done so brilliantly. In Skyrim the only bits that felt original or appropriately dark was the initiation and the initial bits with the night mother.

Spoiler
I didn't like how they sent assassins and creepy letters after me. And then they abduct me and still expect me to kill for them.

So I put an arrow in Astrid's knee.
